Troy and his leadership team are hands-on operators and are involved with all aspects of a project from planning through to delivery, constantly committed to achieving client objectives underpinned by quality and safety processes. The development of the team has increased its capacity and have dedicated teams that also deliver refurbishment works in live and sensitive environments.

Matrix Group Co. was established in 2012 by Troy and now provides its clients with end-to-end design, build, refurbishment and management service aimed at creating and delivering projects which enhance client environments, add value and ensure quality outcomes for both owners and occupiers. While Troy plays many roles in the business, his key strength is his ability to engage and manage stakeholders by listening to and understanding client needs and project requirements which in turn guides the Matrix delivery team.

Remy is key to ensuring that the right systems and people are in place for each project to deliver Matrix’s contractual and statutory obligations. Remy’s role as CFO is responsible for the company’s financial performance, business and contingency planning, and Matrix’s internal financial and project controls. Remy brings over 37 years of expertise and provides another level of direction and guidance to Matrix up and coming pipeline of leaders and managers.

Andrew’s leadership style is to be involved where the work is being done and includes project governance and expert advice to meet client expectations and manage relationships. He is also an effective communicator with all levels of stakeholders who continually develops and leads the implementation of Matrix’s values and methodology through its operational teams. His core expertise lies in the area of design development in highly technical and service-driven projects in live environments.

John Russell

Construction Manager

John has worked for and delivered projects for Tier 1 and Tier 2 companies over the past 20+ years with project values range from $15M to $400M holding positions as Senior Project Manager and Construction Manager in successfully delivering a broad and diverse range of projects. Recent projects include iconic high-rise residential towers, shopping centre and residential development, industrial warehouse distribution centres, the first green 5-star pilot industrial warehouse, and ‘live’ data centres and commercial retail and office towers.

James Lamb

Contracts Manager

James is a contract manager with wide experience of preparing, negotiating and reviewing contracts, purchases, sales and business partnerships. He has managed programs, procurement, a large variety of contracts, and invoices to both clients and sub-contractors in construction and fit-out projects. James has strong analytical and organisational skills which make him invaluable to identify and manage risks, solve problems, reduce costs and ensure regulatory compliance. He has a good knowledge of the legal requirements involved with contracts and very competent with accounting standards and procedures.

Warren Stephens

Warren Stevens

HSE Coordinator

Warren has worked as a Work Health Safety and Environment Manager for more than 10 years in the construction and maintenance sector and has gained valuable experience in developing and implementing programs to improve compliance outcomes. He is highly experienced in systems implementation, specialising in the development and management of QA, WHS and environmental management systems. Warren has developed and implemented strategies and systems for effective management of internal and external WHS, risk assessment, reporting, and employee training.
